| Performance function | : | The CCD camera mounted at the upper part of the rearview mirror is used to detect the lane, and the force necessary to make the vehicle run close to the center of the lane is calculated based on the vehicle speed and the steering angle. Part of this force is collaterally added to the steering. When this system is in operation, the indicator flashes together with a warning beep to inform the driver is the vehicle is judged to be deviating from the lane.
In addition, the force that is gradually added to the steering is decreased when entering a curve, resulting in the addition of no force |
