 |
| Introduction | : | This is the first full-scale telematics service for commercial vehicles in Japan. It is also an advanced driving information system that provides driving conditions in real time by utilizing a packet communication network and GPS location information. Its development has enabled the provision of detailed information such as fuel consumption, and accelerator/brake operation, which are difficult to collect by additional parts, as well as the provision of safe driving support. It also allows fuel consumption and emissions to be controlled in a simple way, and provides strong support to the creation of energy-saving plans and results reports that employers are obligated to complete by law based on the revised Energy Use Law. |
