An independent suspension that was used for both at the front and rear. The front suspension used coil springs, and the rear suspension used a lateral leaf spring. The front axle employed shock absorbers and stabilizers to prevent rolling for improved ride quality. Supplemental: This design did not fit the road conditions in Japan at that time, and later an SB type truck chassis was used. It was an advanced design, but actually a design mistake in reality. That makes the design difficult to evaluate. |
